1. Introduction

Welcome to Local Tilers London. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with these terms. Local Tilers London provides professional tiling services, including but not limited to:

Residential and commercial tiling Bathroom, kitchen, and outdoor tiling Tiling upgrades and renovations Plumbing and drainage work related to tiling installations

2.2 Booking & Quotations

All quotations provided are free and non-binding. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A confirmed booking requires written approval (email, signed quote, or contract).

3. Pricing & Payments 3.1 Pricing

Prices are based on the agreed-upon scope of work. Any additional work requested after the quotation has been approved may result in extra charges, which will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.

3.2 Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be required before work begins, depending on the project size. Full payment is due upon completion of the agreed work, unless otherwise arranged. Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, or other accepted methods as specified in your invoice. Late payments may be subject to interest charges or legal action.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Customers may cancel their booking with at least 48 hours’ notice without penalty. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled work may be subject to a cancellation fee. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure the work area is accessible and ready for tiling before work begins. Any obstructions, furniture, or existing flooring should be removed unless otherwise agreed upon. The customer must notify us of any known plumbing, structural, or electrical issues that may impact the tiling work.

6. Workmanship Guarantee

We provide a 2-year guarantee on workmanship for all tiling installations. This guarantee covers defects in installation but does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper maintenance, or external factors beyond our control. If any issue arises within the guarantee period, we will inspect and rectify the problem where applicable.

7. Liability & Limitations

Local Tilers London will not be liable for pre-existing structural defects, plumbing issues, or subfloor problems that were not disclosed prior to work commencing. We are not responsible for damages caused by third-party contractors or individuals not employed by us. While we take every precaution, minor damage to surrounding areas (e.g., skirting boards, paintwork) may occur during tiling. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for touch-ups if necessary.

8. Health & Safety

Our team follows strict health and safety guidelines during installations. Customers must ensure a safe working environment, including keeping pets and children away from the work area.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including images, text, and branding, is the property of Local Tilers London and may not be used without written permission.

10. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle customer data and personal information. By using our services, you agree to our privacy practices.

11. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and apply to future transactions.
